plasma pen
Plasma pen is a superficial and deep-layer treatment process, also known as fibroblast therapy. This treatment induces the production of collagen in the skin, which in turn reduces the appearance and smoothes the texture of acne scarring, stretch marks and other facial and body scars. The treatment is however not suitable for those who have a keloid scarring.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Plasma Pen works by converting electrical energy into electrostatic energy which is transmitted to the probe by impulse. Held about 1mm from the skin, oxygen and nitrogen are mixed to produce an arc of plasma which discharges onto the epidermis. There is an immediate contraction of the skin tissue and also thermal action within the dermis (the deeper layers of your skin). This stimulates collagen production for the next few months, and also activates and releases important proteins within the skin for repair. Two to three sessions are usually required, leaving six to eight weeks between treatments.
